NFL Mock Draft: Part XII

1 - STL: Bradford, Sam - QB - Oklahoma
After releasing Marc Bulger, this pick is now a lock, as are the first 4 picks.
2 - DET: Suh, Ndamukong - DT - Nebraska
Jim Schwartz know the importance of having a great DT after coaching Haynesworth in Tennessee. Suh is the best player in the draft and the Lions will not pass up on him.
3 - TB: McCoy, Gerald - DT - Oklahoma
He's not Ndamukong Suh, but he's a good consolation prize for the up and coming, young Buccaneers.
4 - WAS: Okung, Russell - T - Oklahoma St.
They fixed their issues at QB and now they will need a stud OT to protect his blindside.
5 - KC: Bulaga, Bryan - T - Iowa
Scott Pioli has come out on record saying he doesn't like picking Safety's in the top of the draft because of their lack of longevity.
6 - SEA: Williams, Trent - T - Oklahoma
Yes, the third straight Tackle taken. Seattle needs a starting Left tackle and Trent Williams is a proven blocker and showed off his athletic ability at the combine.
7 - CLE: Berry, Eric - FS - Tennessee
This would be a slam-dunk pick for the Browns. Berry is possibly the 2nd best player in the draft and could be a great playmaker on their Defense.
8 - OAK: Clausen, Jimmy - QB - Notre Dame
the Raiders were in the hunt for Donovan McNabb which means they realize how bad JaMarcus Russell is and they want to find a franchise QB.
9 - BUF: Davis, Anthony - T - Rutgers
A huge blocker who would help shore up the Bills leaky O-Line. Look for them to go after a QB if one of the 2 passers drop to them.
10 - JAX: Morgan, Derrick - DE - Georgia Tech
The best pure pass rusher in the draft. Yes, they did add Aaron Kampman, but he is coming off a serious injury, and their Defense ranked last in sacks last year.
11 - DEN: Mcclain, Rolando - ILB - Alabama
McClain is a top 10 talent that would go higher if ILB was needed by the first 10 teams. After letting go of Andra Davis, the Broncos would love to team DJ WIlliams and McClain up in the middle behind Jamal Williams.
12 - MIA: Bryant, Dez - WR - Oklahoma St.
If Miami passes on him and takes Dan Williams, they'll regret it.
13 - SF: Haden, Joe - CB - Florida
They would be getting the top Corner in the draft at the 13th pick; this is a steal.
14 - SEA: Spiller, C.J. - RB - Clemson
A Reggie Bush-type player that Carroll cannot pass up on.
15 - NYG: Williams, Dan - DT - Tennessee
He's a big DT that could be a Nose. However, he'll be plugged right into the Giants D-Line and help the run defense.
16 - TEN: Pierre-Paul, Jason - DE - South Florida
Not everyone is in love with JPP's potential, so he'll slide a little bit.
17 - SF: Iupati, Mike - OG - Idaho
Immediate starter anywhere on their O-Line. He's a huge body that can plug in anywhere.
18 - PIT: Pouncey, Maurkice - C - Florida
A smart, versatile blocker that will help the Steelers lack luster running game, and keep Big Ben on his feet.
19 - ATL: Graham, Brandon - OLB - Michigan
Great size, speed, and production. He'll be a very good DE across from John Abraham.
20 - HOU: Wilson, Kyle - CB - Boise St.
After losing Dunta Robinson to the Falcons, the Texans are desperate for a starting corner.
21 - CIN: Gresham, Jermaine - TE - Oklahoma
Carson Palmer could use a good pass-catching TE that can stretch the field.
22 - NE: Kindle, Sergio - OLB - Texas
He is an absolute perfect fit in their defense and it will be scary to see how good he is.
23 - GB: Griffen, Everson - DE - USC
Griffen would be great as the "rush" backer on the Packers defense. Having him on one side and Clay Matthews on the other side gives Green Bay two former teammates that will establish an excellent pass rush.
24 - PHI: Weatherspoon, Sean - OLB - Missouri
They would love to have Pouncey or Iupati available at this spot but most likely they will be gone. So they will address their very poor Linebacking Corps.
25 - BAL: McCourty, Devin - CB - Rutgers
With Gresham off the board they'll look to their next need. The Ravens attended McCourty's pro day and liked what they saw. His former teammate Ray Rice has been giving him nothing but praise and the Raves front office is listening.
26 - ARI: Campbell, Bruce - OT - Maryland
A big guy that can help their poor blocking up front. He has great timed speed and lots of potential.
27 - DAL: Mays, Taylor - FS - USC
This is a Jerry Jones-type move. The Cowboys have needed a Safety for a few years now, and will gladly plug in Taylor Mays in their secondary.
28 - SD: Mathews, Ryan - RB - Fresno St.
If Mathews is taken earlier they will go after Terrance Cody, but with him available here, they'll take what could be the most complete Running Back in the draft.
29 - NYJ: Odrick, Jared - DT - Penn State
I have had Carlos Dunlap going here for a while, but he just has too many question marks surrounding him. Odrick would be very good at the 5-technique in the Jets 3-4 defense.
30 - MIN: Jackson, Kareem - CB - Alabama
A corner who plays more physical than his size would suggest. He would be an immediate starter and fill the Vikings top need. Watch for them to take a long look at Brian Price here to replace Pat Williams.
31 - IND: Brown, Charles - T - USC
The Colts will go Offensive Line with this pick no matter who is on the board. Whether it be Campbell, Pouncey, or Brown, they are taking a lineman.
32 - NO: Price, Brian - DT - UCLA
He very strong and athletic guy who is very stout in the run game. He'd be a great guy to team up with Sedrick Ellis.
