2011 NFL Mock Draft: Part VII

1 - CARBowers, Da'Quan - DE - Clemson
This guy is the next Julius Peppers and he found the perfect team to fit in. Many may believe that Nick Fairley will be the pick, but i think Ron Rivera wants to get a high character guy who has had a little more consistent production than Fairley.
2 - DENPeterson, Patrick - CB - LSU
A lot like Eric Berry, he could play either the Corner or Safety spot. He' the best defensive back in the draft and maybe the best player too.
3 - BUFFairley, Nick - DT - Auburn
This guy has just the attitude and style of play that the Bills need to become relevant again. He'd be a great fit as an end in their 3-4 defense.
4 - CINGreen, A.J. - WR - Georgia
Green is the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson. Both Ocho Cinco and T.O. could bon their way out of Cincy and Green will do a great job replacing them.
5 - ARIQuinn, Robert - DE - North Carolina
Robert Quinn would get a great opportunity to start opposite Joey Porter. He might have been a top 3 pick had he not sat out the season.
6 - CLEDareus, Marcell - DT - Alabama
Dareus is the best player on the board and would be able to play any position on the D-Line in any defense for the Cleveland defense.
7 - SFMiller, Von - OLB - Texas A&M
They finally get that rushing OLB that they've needed for years.
8 - TENGabbert, Blaine - QB - Missouri
The Titans have made everyone aware that Vince Young will not be on the roster next season and they will be looking for a QB. I'm not very high on Gabbert but other teams and scouts are so he'll be the top QB taken.
9 - DALAmukamara, Prince - CB - Nebraska
Dream Scenario for Dallas. They need a Corner who can cover desperately. They may even move him to safety. They just need anyone that can stop the pass.
10 - WASLocker, Jake - QB - Washington
So the McNabb experiment failed in Washington, and Shanahan will be looking for a new QB. Locker is a QB that plays a lot like John Elway and is a Pac-10 QB just like him. Shanahan was very high on him last year and would love to get his hands on him in this draft.
11 - HOUKerrigan, Ryan - DE - Purdue
With the Texans switching to the 3-4 defense, they'll need a rushing outside linebacker to get to the QB.
12 - MINNewton, Cam - QB - Auburn
This could not be a better situation for Newton. The Heisman winner will have AP, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, and Visanthe Shiancoe. He'll do just fine in Leslie Frazier's new Vikings team.
13 - DETAyers, Akeem - OLB - UCLA
Ayers is going to be another great piece to add to this rising Detroit Lions defense.
14 - STLJones, Julio - WR - Alabama
Julio Jones would be the absolute perfect pick for the Rams at #14 here. The Offense would be scary with Bradford throwing to Jones and handing the ball off to Jackson.
15 - MIAMallett, Ryan - QB - Arkansas
The Dolphins absolutely HAVE to get their hands on a quarterback in this draft. if not all hell might break loose in Miami. Mallet's stock is dropping because of the usual scout speculation that he doesn't have "it" and his lack of mobility is a liability.
16 - JAXHarris, Brandon - CB - Miami
The Jags need a #2 corner to help Rashean Mathis in coverage. You may tink this is early for him, but this is the same team that drafted Tyson Alualu at the #10 pick last year.
17 - NEJordan, Cameron - DE - California
Jordan is the perfect fit on the Pats 3-4 D-line.
18 - SDSolder, Nate - OT - Colorado
They can finally put an end to their O-line troubles that they've had for years now.
19 - NYG: Liuget, Corey - DT - Illinois
The Giants would love to get a 4-3 OLB but with no real value at this pick they'll look to another need they have
20 - TBWatt, J.J. - DE - Wisconsin
A lot of experts have Adrian Clayborn penciled in here, but Watt is higher on the board at this point and Clayborn has been falling like a rock.
21 - KCSmith, Aldon - DE - Missouri
Aldon Smith is still very raw, but his potential is undeniable.
22 - INDCastonzo, Anthony - OT - Boston College
The colts have ignored their O-Line for a while but we saw it catch up with them this year.
23 - PHICarimi, Gabe - OT - Wisconsin
A versatile Offensive lineman who can play either the Tackle or Guard spot. The Eagles could use some help on that porous O-Line.
24 - NOClayborn, Adrian - DE - Iowa
A match made in New Orleans Saints heaven. A versatile DE that can play DT or DE in their 4-3 defense. He has the ability and potential to play like a top 10 pick.
25 - SEASmith, Tyron - OT - USC
Pete Carroll wont stray far from his old home, and he'll also be able to get a legit starter at the right OT spot.
26 - BALBailey, Allen - DT - Miami
Another cane is going to Baltimore. The Ravens could use a defensive end who can stop the run and pressure the QB.
27 - ATLHouston, Justin - DE - Georgia
Houston could be a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE. Much like John Abraham, he's a fast yet undersized DE prospect.
28 - NEIngram, Mark - RB - Alabama
The pats do it again. Every year they show the other teams how to draft and now with their 2nd pick in the first round they get a Heisman winning RB who can give them a huge boost on offense.
29 - CHI: Ijalana, Benjamin - OG - Villanova
Another versatile lineman, that can play either the Tackle or Guard position on the O-line. The Bears have had a historically bad O-line for years.
30 - NYJHeyward, Cameron - DE - Ohio State
Heyward is a big bruising 3-4 DE that fits the Jets persona very well.
31 - GBWilliams, Aaron - CB - Texas
A guy that can be groomed behind Charles Woodson and Tramon Williams. Sam Shields has been good at times, but he's not good enought o eventually be a starting corner.
32 - PITPouncey, Mike - OG - Florida
The twins reunited again. The Steelers O-Line is getting better, one Pouncey at a time

11 - HOUPaea, Stephen - DT - Oregon St.
With the Texans switching to the 3-4 defense, they'll need a strong DT to fill up the middle of that defensive line.
12 - MINNewton, Cam - QB - Auburn
This could not be a better situation for Newton. The Heisman winner will have AP, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, and Visanthe Shiancoe. He'll do just fine in Leslie Frazier's new Vikings team.

16 - JAXKerrigan, Ryan - DE - Purdue
The Jags have needed someone, anyone, who can create some kind of pass rush. Kerrigan is an absolute beast when it comes to getting to the QB.
17 - NEJordan, Cameron - DE - California
Jordan is the perfect fit on the Pats 3-4 D-line.
18 - SDSolder, Nate - OT - Colorado
They can finally put an end to their O-line troubles that they've had for years now.

21 - KCSmith, Aldon - DE - Missouri
Aldon Smith is still very raw, but his potential is undeniable.
22 - INDCastonzo, Anthony - OT - Boston College
The colts have ignored their O-Line for a while but we saw it catch up with them this year.
23 - PHIHarris, Brandon - CB - Miami
Harris is the best available Corner on the board and the Eagles had a horrible secondary this year.

27 - ATLHouston, Justin - DE - Georgia
Houston could be a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE. Much like John Abraham, he's a fast yet undersized DE prospect.
28 - NEIngram, Mark - RB - Alabama
The pats do it again. Every year they show the other teams how to draft and now with their 2nd pick in the first round they get a Heisman winning RB who can give them a huge boost on offense.
29 - CHICarimi, Gabe - OT - Wisconsin
The Bears need to fix up their spotty O-Line and Carimi is a guy that can play on either side.
30 - NYJHeyward, Cameron - DE - Ohio State
Heyward is a big bruising 3-4 DE that fits the Jets persona very well.
31 - GBMoch, Dontay - OLB - Nevada
What?!?! People may be scratching their heads at this pick. But, the Packers desperately need an OLB who can rush the passer opposite Clay Matthews. Dontay Moch is the ideal 3-4 OLB. At 6-1 250 he runs a 4.1!!! He can stop the run, cover the pass, and gets great production in the pass rushing game.
32 - PITPouncey, Mike - OG - Florida
The twins reunited again. The Steelers O-Line is getting better, one Pouncey at a time.

2011 NFL Mock Draft: Part III

1 - CARLuck, Andrew - QB - Stanford
Easily the best QB prospect in years. You could see the Panthers trade out of this spot to get more picks considering they have Jimmy Clausen. But if not, they'll grab Luck with the #1 pick.
2 - DENFairley, Nick - DT - Auburn
Fairley has risen up the draft boards all season long. He's a high-motor athletic D-Lineman who can play the DT in the 4-3 or the DE in the 3-4.
3 - BUFBowers, Da'Quan - DE - Clemson
An absolute stud. Seen as a smaller version of Mario Williams. It's still yet to be seen if he can stand up in a 3-4 but i'm sure he'll find his way in the Buffalo defense.
4 - CINGreen, A.J. - WR - Georgia
Green is the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson. Both Ocho Cinco and T.O. could bon their way out of Cincy and Green will do a great job replacing them.
5 - ARIPeterson, Patrick - CB - LSU
Peterson is a shut-down corner that would give the Cardinals one of the best CB duos in the league.
6 - CLEJones, Julio - WR - Alabama
The Browns need a true #1 Receiver for Colt McCoy to throw the ball to. McCoy to Jones could be a great combo in Cleveland for many years.
7 - SFNewton, Cam - QB - Auburn
The Heisman winner could be just what the doctor ordered for this lackluster offense. He's a combo of Alex Smith and Troy Smith, only much better! Newton would get surrounded by great athletes like Gore, Davis, and Crabtree giving him the opportunity to shine in San Fran.
8 - TENDareus, Marcell - DT - Alabama
After losing Albert Haynesworth, the Titans defense hasn't been the same. Tennessee needs a big time Defensive Tackle to stop the run and anchor that D-Line.
9 - DALAmukamara, Prince - CB - Nebraska
Amukamara is a superb cover guy with great size and athleticism. He can project as either a Corner or Safety in their defense.
10 - WASMallett, Ryan - QB - Arkansas
This pick is obvious. The Redskins will get a QB whether we like it or not. Shanahan doesn't want McNabb anymore and Rex Grossman is definitely not the answer. This is a team that is going to be making some serious personnel changes this off-season.
11 - HOUQuinn, Robert - DE - North Carolina
The Texans need a boost on Defense. They absolutely have to get some kind of pass-rush outside of Mario Williams. Quinn is a prospect who probably would have been a top five pick had he not sat out this season.
12 - MINGabbert, Blaine - QB - Missouri
Gabbert is a guy that I'm not too fond of, but apparently everyone else is. Gabbert is a big bodied guy who can throw the ball a mile, but has some accuracy issues and doesn't take snaps from under center.
13 - DETJenkins, Janoris - CB - Florida
The Lions are picking out of the top 5?!?! Is this a joke? Not at all, the Detroit Lions are one healthy Matthew Stafford and one shutdown Corner away from being a playoff contender. Jenkins a great athlete sho is extremely aggressive when going for the ball and attempting tackles.
14 - STLBlackmon, Justin - WR - Oklahoma St.
In a year with top receivers all over the front end of this first round, Justin Blackmon could be a huge steal at #14. Many people from Ok St think he is better than last year's prospect Dez Bryant. He'll provide the Rams with a combo that hasn't been seen in St.Louis since Kurt Warner and Tory Holt.
15 - MIALocker, Jake - QB - Washington
Locker's stock is dropping because of a few injuries here and there and his play wasn't as stellar as the likes of Luck, Newton, or Mallett. Locker is an incredible pro prospect with potential through the roof. He is a Steve Young-esque player who played in a Pro system at Washington and could be the best athlete on the field for the Huskies. If the Dolphins do hire Jim Harbaugh, he'll like the fact that he has a Pac-10 Quarterback that he's familiar with.
16 - JAXKerrigan, Ryan - DE - Purdue
Ryan Kerrigan is a high production end who had at least 1 sack in every game this season. You could see him play somewhere else as an OLB in the 3-4, but with Kampman's future uncertain and the Jags D-Line in shambles, they'll opt for the sack artist from Purdue.
17 - NEMiller, Von - OLB - Texas A&M
I don't think that there is a pick that is more perfect in this entire draft. Von MIller is a premier 3-4 OLB and will be an absolute monster for the Pats.
18 - SDSherrod, Derek - OT - Mississippi St.
Sherrod is quietly becoming the top O-Line prospect in the draft. He has played very well against top competition and he's got some athleticism to him. He would be an ideal fit as the Tackle on the right side of the Chargers line.
19 - NYGAyers, Akeem - OLB - UCLA
The Giants have needed a linebacker for years. Michael Boley gets injured too often, Clint Sintim hasn't panned out, and Keith Bulluck shouldn't be back next year in the NFL. Ayers is a versatile linebacker that can make all the plays.
20 - TBClayborn, Adrian - DE - Iowa
Clayborn had a sensational Junior season but didn't impress too many people this year. He still has the ability to get to the quarterback and stop the run. Could be one of the more complete DE's in the entire draft.
21 - SEAPaea, Stephen - DT - Oregon St.
The 'Hawks need help all over their D-Line. Pete Carroll's team is littered with Pac-10 players and I don't think he'll stop now. Paea is a guy that was a projected top 10 pick at one point, and he could be a great starter at the DT spot. Also look out for USC standout Jurrell Casey at this spot.
22 - KCFloyd, Michael - WR - Notre Dame
Floyd is a guy that can stretch the field for the Chiefs offense and he's a guy they can trust after having Charlie Weis as their Offensive Coordinator.
23 - INDSolder, Nate - OT - Colorado
A former Tight End that moved to Tackle. He's a guy that has the ideal height and quickness you look for in a tackle.
24 - PHIHarris, Brandon - CB - Miami
How do you pass up on a UM defensive back when he has a round 1 grade? Brandon Harris might not be the biggest or fastest player at the U, but he sure does make plays. He shuts down receivers and can be a quality Corner in the league for years.
25 - GBIngram, Mark - RB - Alabama
I know what you're saying... "The Packers don't need a Running Back!?!" Or do they? When Ryan Grant went down, the Pack was left with Brandon Jackson and John Kuhn who didn't provide them with much of a rushing attack. This is a league where you need a 2-Running Back system and Green Bay obviously does not have that. With Grant coming off a bad injury, Ingram makes sense here; at #25, he's a steal.
26 - NONevis, Drake - DT - LSU
Another perfect fit in the draft. A bayou player traveling down the street to go play for the Saints. The Saints need help on the D-line and at Linebacker.
27 - NYJWatt, J.J. - DE - Wisconsin
Watt is flying up draft boards and we could see him all the way up at #16. He's a DE that could play in the 4-3 or 3-4 scheme with his hand in the dirt he has the size and the motor to be a very good DE at the next level.
28 - BALBailey, Allen - DT - Miami
Another prospect out of the U. I don't know what it is, but when the Ravens getting players from Miami, it works out perfectly. The once feared Ravens Defense is no longer the tops in the league and could use the pieces to return to that level.
29 - CHICastonzo, Anthony - OT - Boston College
A big, prototypical Tackle who could be a great bookend on either side of their line.
30 - PITPouncey, Mike - OG - Florida
Lakeland High School, University of Florida, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pouncey brothers are inseparable. According to reports, the Steelers are already set to grab Mike in the upcoming draft to play right alongside his brother; with their O-Line problems continuing he could be that missing piece to point them in the right direction.
31 - ATLCarimi, Gabe - OT - Wisconsin
The run on Offensive Tackles has started and the Falcons could use one. Carimi is a player that could go much higher than this, but with all the best OT's going later in the first, The Falcons will get a nice gift on draft day.
32 - NEHeyward, Cameron - DE - Ohio State
Somehow, New England does it every year in the draft by having multiple picks in the first 3 rounds. The Pats could use a big-bodied athlete on their D-Line to replace Richard Seymour on the Defensive front. After his impressive outing in the sugar bowl, teams are going to have him on their radar.
