Clausen and Tate declare

Both Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate will forgo their Senior seasons to pursue the NFL. Both are predicted to go in the first round of April's draft. Tate could truly be a diamond in the rough come April. He is oddly similar to rookie standout Percy Harvin. Tate returns punts and kicks, runs the ball, and can catch the ball deep down the field. Being a former Running Back, Tate averages 11.7 yards every time he touches the ball. Averaging nearly 16 yards per reception and 7 yards per carry, Tate could prove to be a great offensive weapon at the next level. You could see Tate's stock drop if he doesn't run a great 40, but if he runs in the 4.4's watch for him to be picked up anywhere between the middle of round one to very early in round two.
